It's St Jude Fundraising TIME!!!
Welcome to the Create-a-thon for Curing Kids!! Or CatCK for short! So what is this event???
Make sure you tune in as much as you can!!
So what design will they be using??
This is artwork created by Faith, a current patient of St Jude who just recently had a relapse.
Donate and win! Every $5 donated to St Jude through ANY of the above participating campaigns earns a ticket “to win”. We have some pretty cool things we are giving away including a B35 Bernette Sewing Machine!!! That's right, you could win a sewing machine with just a $5 donation to St Jude.
You do NOT need to be present to win! Check out the current list of giveaway items here.
We are also having another Sewing Race!!
Hosted by SleepingLunaDesigns!!!

Prizes & Shipping eligibility for Prizes:
Winner of Race
- Oliso Pro Plus Smart Iron TG1600 (North America Shipping only).
Rules and Guidelines to participate in the Jelly Roll Race on December 21st at 1pm ET:
Sign up to Race Live - Cost $40 usd
- Register between November 16th and December 20th to participate.
- You must know how to use Zoom before the race.
- You must log in by 12:30pm ET into the Zoom meeting (link will be provided on the 20th) or you will not be included in the race. We will be going live at 12:40pm ET and starting the race shortly after 1pm ET.
- Your camera angle must be able to show you at your main sewing machine and show the progress of your quilt.
- Do NOT open your Jelly Roll until we are live and I say GO UNLESS you are making your own Jelly Roll or a store made it.
- You may make your own Jelly Roll. If you do this, you must have 40 2 1/2 inch strips at least 40 inches in length. You must have this cut and ready for the race and a photo taken of the strips to be eligible. Before the race starts, the strips must be in a single pile so there is no advantage to cutting your own strips.
- You may use up to an additional 2 yards of a single fabric. This is OPTIONAL and should only be done if you want to purposefully slow yourself down. There is no Best in Show this year.
- Your Jelly Roll must have 40 strips of 2 1/2" fabric.
- If you have won a race previously you must make at least 2 cuts into each strip of fabric. You can do this before or after sewing the strips together.
- You may not have an additional person helping, this is all you. Ironing, Sewing, assembly, everything. ALL YOU.
- You may pre-wind Bobbins.
- We are only making the tops. You do not need to finish off your quilt.
- To be considered complete, your top must be completely finished, ironed, and ready for basting. You do not need borders or embellishments and these can be added later if you wish.
- Please remember to keep voice chat PG and free of politics and religion. This will be going up on YouTube afterwards.
- If you are outside the shipping area for any prize you can opt to pay for shipping to win that prize.
That's right, there are a ton of amazing prizes you can win for every $5 you donate to St Jude! Check out the spreadsheet with links to pictures!
Giveaways will be held Sunday December 22 at 1pm eastern time.
