Have Toni be the host for your event. She can match the tone to the event from  serious and business-like, chaotic and fun or anything in between.

Workshops

These Workshops ARE available virtually through Zoom.

Workshops are classes or lectures that I can provide for your store, guild, convention, or gathering. 

​Sew with the Designer - 6-8 hours
A class based around my line of patterns.  Each participant picks a pattern (or kit) and we create them together.

Make your own pixel patterns 3 hours
Learn how to create a pixelated image, turn it into a quilt pattern, and how to pick the right fabrics for your image.  

Make your own pixel quilt 6-8 hours
Learn how to strip piece to create your quilt in the most efficient way possible and how to line up your seams to have crisp points in your finished quilt. Can also be combined with pattern class, but students will not finish their tops. (if not combined, they must have a pixel pattern ready to make already)

Pixelated Mini Quilts 6-8 hours

Using gridded fusible interfacing, learn the techniques of how to create a mini quilt with 1/2" finished squares.

 

Pixelated Throw Pillow 6-8 hours
Learn how to strip piece to create your pillow in the most efficient way possible, learn how to line up your seams to have crisp points in your finished pillow, and learn how to sew a semi-invisible zipper.

Bargello Quilting 4-6 hours
Learn the technique behind Bargello Quilts, how to read Bargello patterns, and how to create your own Bargello pattern.

Classic Quilt Blocks 4-6 hours

New to Quilting and want to learn the basics?  This Workshop is for you!  We take a look at four of the classic quilt blocks Log Cabin, 9 Patch, Windmill and Flying Geese.

The Pixel Revolution 1 hour
A trunk show journey through the successes and failures of becoming the pixel quilter. ​

Pixel Quilting: What is Pixel Quilting and how can I do it easily? 1 hour
Want to learn how to make your own pixelated quilt patterns?  This lecture/trunk show touches on the basics of pixel design for quilt patterns and the different methods of patterning you can choose.

What is Twitch Creative and why should I care? 1 hour 
Twitch is a global community of millions who come together each day to create their own entertainment: unique, live, unpredictable, never-to-be repeated experiences created by the magical interactions of the many. With chat built into every stream, you don’t just watch on Twitch, you’re a part of the show.

Bargello Quilts: Easier than you think 1 hour

Bargello Quilts can seem intimidating but they are actually pretty easy to put together.  An abbreviated version of the Workshop with basic demonstrations and no audience participation. Please note, this is a power point and NO trunk show is included at all.

Costs

Lectures - $200 (Virtual Lectures must be paid before the Lecture)
Events - Variable cost starting at $500 a day (dependent on time, days, etc)
Half Day Workshops - $275 up to twenty students.  Additional students are $20 each.
Full Day Workshops - $475 up to twenty students.  Additional students are $20 each.

Plus reasonable travel expenses and boarding from London, Ontario or Crofton, MD.
